How can I set the default "Open in Server" address for QlikView Desktop users on a terminal server
Cause
The Item0 key under HKEY_USERS\<UserProfileID>\Software\QlikTech\QlikView12\ConnectionsMRU\ contains the default "Open in Server" server used by QlikView Desktop.
Resolution
Locate the specific user profile Item0 registry key value under HKEY_USERS\<UserProfileID>\Software\QlikTech\QlikView12\ConnectionsMRU\ The value data for the Item0 key should contain the full qvp path for default server connection you want to display.
For example add the value qvp://yourservername
Now when you open QlikView Desktop and choose "Open in Server" you will see this default server listed to select.
