Disabled Active Directory users are not flagged as inactive in the on premise Qlik Sense Management Console

Users which were disabled or deactivated in the Active Directory remain listed as active in the Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows Management Console.

Reviewing the Users section in the Management console shows the Inactive column for these users set to No, even if the expectation is Yes.

Resolution

This is working as intended. The Inactive column does not reflect Active Directory status but reflects that the user was not synchronized. Deactivated users can still be synchronized.

To prevent deactivated users from being listed, configure an LDAP filter to only return users from Active Directory (AD) that should be active in Qlik Sense.

An improvement has been suggested to streamline the behavior.
