- QlikView 12.20 (November 2017)
The information in this article is provided as is and cannot be implemented by Qlik. Assistance from local network and infrastructure departments will be required.
Own the domain space used for the public access, example DOMAINNAME.COM.
Internet connectivity for the QlikView server should not be direct. Access through a firewall or reverse proxy using a public IP address is recommended.
Configure an "A" DNS
record for this DNS zone, pointing to the QlikView server IP address.
Configure DNS servers for your clients (in case they use internal DNS Active Directory related): "A" record for your clients to be able to succesfully locate your server.
Make apporpriate changes at firewall/network level (port forwarding, requests related to port 443 should point to the IP address of the server.)
Obtain 3rd party SSL certificate for your server
Install SSL certificate based on any of our documentation available on our Help
or in our Knowlege Database.
