The QlikView Desktop Client menu bar / toolbar is no longer visible. Options and settings cannot be accessed.
The toolbar was previously visible and has disappeared.
Unable to develop a QlikView Document without available tools.

Environments:

QlikView Desktop 12.10 

 

Resolution:

 

  1. Open the registry editor (regedit) and locate 
    KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\QlikTech\QlikView\Toolbar 7
  2. Rename the key to to Toolbar 7 old.
    This will reset the toolbar configuration.
  3. After that, open Qlikview again and the menu should be visible.
