QlikView: Custom users missing from Directory Service Connector after a service restartArticle Number: 000046661 | Last Modified: 2018/11/21
After a service restart all the custom users and Custom Directory info went missing from the QMC.
- QlikView 12 or higher
- Go to the Directory Service Connector (DSC) data folder (standard path: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DirectoryServiceConnector)
- Look for a file called something like CustomDirectoryData (deleted on ... ).xml.archive with a date close to the incident
- Stop the DSC service
- Rename the file to CustomDirectoryData.xml
- Start the DSC service
