How to develop and verify Section Access with only QAP server license

If you have only a Qlik Analytics Platform (QAP) license, it means you will not have the access to Hub and the App from native Qlik Sense Client as the Qlik Sense Enterprise (QSE) server has. Therefore it is more difficult to develop and test the Section Access of an app in the same environment as you can do in a QSE server. However, it is still possible to do it without having a QSE license.

The QAP license only allows the app development from Qlik Sense Desktop or via APIs. 
Section Access can be developed but can't be applied in Qlik Sense Desktop.

You can still develop your app with Section Access in Qlik Sense desktop. But you cannot reload it with the Section enabled due to the restriction of the Qlik Sense Desktop.
Once you have the rest part of the app developed and all data reloaded, add the Section Access table but don't reload. Save the script with the Save button in the Data Load Editor of Qlik Sense Desktop. 
It's a good idea to have the copy of the app without Section Access table just as a backup.
Close the app, and import the app into QAP server using QMC. 
Reload your app again from the QMC.
Now you should be able to use the App with Section Access applied. You can verify the data restriction is working using visualizations that were developed against that app.
