Attempting to replace the current license or add a new seems to succeed, but any QlikView Server Service restarts clear the license again. The Management Console lists the QlikView Server as "Unlicensed"
Verifying permissions on QlikView files showed that the settings.ini did not allow the Service Account full control.

Wrong NTFS permissions at C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer, where "settings.ini" and ".PGO" files are stored.
- Set NTFS permissions at C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer
- Add "Full control" to QV group where local service account is member, and propagate permission inheritance at "All files and subfolders" under the mentioned path above
