Pivot table: Total value change when collapsed and expended table

In Qlik Sense, Pivot table contains master dimensions and measures.
The total value shows incorrect number when expending and collapsing the dimensions. For example, when expended all the total value shown is 987, but after collapsed all the value change to 1,610.
The total value shows incorrect number when expending and collapsing the dimensions. For example, when expended all the total value shown is 987, but after collapsed all the value change to 1,610.
Cause
Caused by the dirty data and non-unique primary key in data model. The 'include null values' for dimensions are unchecked as well.
When the above condition meets, because NullValues are included, the associated values with null values in the Measure are also shown up. When any of the rows are expanded next dimension which contains null, It brings 'Totals' under a new calculation. This calculation brings the new values in Measure into account and a new 'Totals' appears.
Resolution
- Clean the dirty data which is to remove null data in dimension and measures
- Make sure there are unique primary key in dimension and measure tables. Each row in fact table has the related dimension data.
- Make sure the option 'includes null value' is checked for all dimension. Since there is no null value anymore, this won't make any change.
