It may be the case that two Nov2017 Qlik Sense environments appear to be identical, but when requesting the hub takes significantly longer in one environment (for example <1 second in one environment and 20+ seconds in the other environment). Investigation of the network logs (.har) shows that the /about request in particular occupies most of the response time.
Attempting to access the Hub from the machine locally (https://localhost/hub) shows the same delay.
Investigation of the machine specs may show slight differences in CPU specs, but not enough to account for the magnitude of delay experienced.
Investigation of the logs may find nothing notable.
Verify that port 9028 (Hub Service) is open, in particular.
Verify all other required ports
are open as well, per our public documentation.
