How do QlikView and Qlik Sense support connection to Hyperion Financial Management?

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows 
QlikView 

One option is to use Essbase Analytics Link (EAL) from Oracle/Hyperion which creates a virtual cube on top of HFM data.  From there the connector will connect to the virtual Essbase Cube.  The other option is to use HFM extended analytics which generates a Star Schema from HFM.

Another option is to load the flat file extracted out of HFM into a Relational database.  From there, Qlik would just use the ODBC connection to that Relational DB.
