Disabling Navigation and Menu button after publishing the application in Qlik Sense is not advisable and feasible.Article Number: 000042859 | Last Modified: 2019/01/17
The changes made to scripting files will reflect across all the apps in the product and user won't be able to see the Navigation and Menu button even while creating reports/apps/visualizations which is not a feasible situation considering the fact that one needs those buttons while working on dashboard, visualizations, reports for various purposes as described below.
- Purpose of the Navigation is to enable user to navigate through various different modules of Qlik Sense like App overview, Data manager, Data load editor, Data model viewer and Hub.
- Purpose of the Menu button will allow user to easily add data, export sheet to PDF or duplicate sheet, delete sheets or one can access Help page quickly using the Menu button.
If one wishes to do it for particular sheets or apps, it can be achieved by using Mashups or Single Configuration window in Dev hub. This has to be performed manually.
For more information around the same, one can refer community pages.
