Connector Error - connector is not responding

The Script editor shows a connector not responding error:

The connector is not responding 

Qlik Sense engine logs show the following:

GenericConnection: QvConnect failed to connect to pipe in timely manner ExtendedException: Type '11041' thrown. Message: 'Connector is not responding'.

Microsoft Windows logs record:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvOdbcConnectorPackage\QvOdbcConnectorPackage.exe Pleas refer QvOdbcConnectorPackage.exe.config.

Environment:

Qlik ODBC Connector Package , all versions

Cause:

A corrupted installation of the connector package. 

Resolution:

Possible resolutions:

• Verify that the files are not being blocked by an active virus scan. See Qlik Sense Folder And Files To Exclude From AntiVirus Scanning.
• Reinstall the connector package after downloading the relevant version.
