This error message usually happens if the Qlik Sense Engine cannot find a corresponding or the correct ODBC driver. This is not a Qlik issue but actually an issue with the customer's environment, in not using the correct ODBC driver or Qlik cannot find one.
If the ODBC connection fails with the error message: "Connector connect error: SQL##f - SqlState: IM002, ErrorCode: 0, ErrorMsg: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified", then the resolution is to verify if the driver is correctly installed on the server where the Qlik Sense Engine resides, preferably with a System DSN set up. It must also be the correct driver. If the Qlik Sense environment is a multi node environment with multiple engines then also check if the driver is installed on all server nodes.
It is also highly suggested to either reinstall the drivers, or look for new drivers, as this is often the cause of the issue. Newer drivers is likely the best resolution, as the customer needs to remove the old one they're using and find the latest Microsoft driver online for SQL (Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server).
The first test would be to see if you get the same error when trying to reload manually through the Data Load Editor, instead of reloading the task in the QMC. This will point you in the right direction.
