Qlik Sense images in NPrinting are not shown as they are in Qlik Sense
Article Number: 000040688 | Last Modified: 2018/11/29
Description
You have an NPrinting report (PowerPoint, Word or PixelPerfect) taking images from Qlik Sense. There are images that are not shown correctly: they are cut. or have scroll bars or they seem to have incorrect dimensions.
Cause
To import an image in the template, NPrinting opens an internal browser that is used to access the Sense application and to visualize the object in the report. The dimensions of the browser window are the same as the image dimensions in the NPrinting template. It may happen that the window is not big enough to visualize the entire objects. When this happens, Qlik Sense automatically cut the image, rescale it or add a scrollbar at the bottom, so the image imported in the NPrinting report may be different from the image you see in the hub when you open it full browser.
Resolution
This is currently (NPrinting 17.6) considered as Working ad Designed, but an improvement case (OP-3793) is opened to change the image generation process and have the image imported in NPrinting as it is in Qlik Sense. A date for the release of this improvement has not officially been given, but from the current information in the improvement this should be targeted for NPrinting February 2019.
