The error "The method or operation is not Implemented" is encountered on opening the NPrinting Template Editor. This article describe the issue behind this error.
Cause:
If the connection to the report template is broken by a deletion of the NP source connection associated with the report template that is being opened, you will encounter the error "The method or operation is not Implemented"
Upon Clicking 'OK' the following screen appears:
Resolution:
The resolution is to:
- Recreate the source connection need to generate the report with
- Rebuild the report as the original report is now orphaned.
Note: Once the report template has been orphaned in this manner as a result of a connection that has been deleted and re-added, it is not possible to preview/export the report any longer.
