NPrinting - No executor found for failure in tree transformation service

You may have problems creating Nprinting Reports where tasks are failing or not starting with the warning message " No executor found" in the scheduler log (By default stored in C:\ProgramData\NPrinting\Logs)

The "No executor found" message is displayed when an engine returns a failure for a task that is currently not handled by NPrinting scheduler.
Checking the logs, messages begin just after scheduler service has been restarted. Meaning that the scheduler has been re started but probably kept one or more engines running, and those processed requests that were not corresponding anymore to the tasks that were running.
So that error message is normal and is just signaling this abnormal situation. 

 

If you keep having long delays or failures in your tasks I'd suggest to:

• Stop all engines and scheduler
• Restart Messaging service
• Start engines and scheduler again

This will clean all NPrinting queues and ensure that all tasks restart with machine resources being free.
