Opening a .qvw document using "Open URL" in the QlikView Desktop client causes it to loop

In a specific scenario, in which a QlikView document is indirectly opened using the Open URL function in the QlikView Desktop, and the Internet Explorer Plugin as the eventual end client, the document may begin to loop/flicker on open.
A terminal server or citrix client may also be involved in the environment.
Using the Internet Explorer Plugin inside the QlikView Desktop client leads to unexpected behaviour.
Cause
The product is not designed in a such way - that you can open a client inside another client. This in combination with some complex environments ( like Terminal Server) or other features, will lead to instability and will cause abnormal behaviour.
Resolution
It is advised to use the Internet Explorer Plugin directly from Internet Explorer, or the AJAX / Full Browser Client.
