Comparative Analysis and Alternate States function in Qlik SenseArticle Number: 000036077 | Last Modified: 2018/06/12
However if you want to achieve something like this, there is a possibility to use extensions in order to make comparative analysis which would allow you to mimic the alternate State functionality.
For instance some useful extension are available through our Community or through Qlik Branch:
Please note that Qlik does not support 3rd party implementations. For issues with 3rd party provided extensions the primary support channel is the 3rd party extension provider. Extensions provided by Qlik employees on Qlik Branch or Qlik Community are not supported by Qlik.
A customer should also consider this:
- extensions are generally not supported and Qlik Support cannot make recommendations about them: the customer should always contact the developer that wrote them. The only exception to this is extensions provided by Qlik, as a company, on the Qlik Market. Extensions provided by Qlik employees on Qlik Branch or Qlik Community are not supported by Qlik.
- extensions should be tested one by one when installing them, to verify that they are not breaking the product
- a product update might cause conflicts with non-updated extensions to the point of causing the product to malfunction: the customer should therefore always check in a test-environment before upgrading, and possibly contact the extension developer to verify compatibility.
