No reports found after opening NPrinting On-Demand panel in QlikView AccessPoint

Opening a QlikView Document in the AJAX (Full Browser) client and clicking the On-Demand button results in no reports being listed.

The following message appears:

No reports found. Create on in NPrinting or make sure you have access

Environment:

Resolution

  1. Verify that the Qlik NPrinting report has On-Demand enabled

    In Qlik NPrinting web console, click Reports.
    1. Open a report 
    2. Select an app from the App drop-down list is connected to the QlikView document for which you want to generate a report.

      Note: On-Demand requests only work with reports based on a single connection. MultiDoc reports are not supported.

    3. Verify that the Enable On-Demand check box is enabled.
    4. Click Save.

  2. Verify that the QlikView Server address as trusted origin in the NPrinting Web Console

    1. In Qlik NPrinting, click Admin > Settings.
    2. Click On-Demand Settings.
    3. Click Add trusted origin.
    4. After Name, enter a name for the trusted origin.
    5. After Description, enter a description for the trusted origin.
    6. After Address, enter the URL for the QlikView Server.

      The URL must be the base URL (scheme and host) only. For example, http://qlikserver1 rather than http://qlikserver1/qlikview/index.htm.

    7. Click Create.

  3. Ensured the user that is trying to use the On-Demand feature has the On-Demand capability enabled in the assigned security role.

  4. Verify if the connection to the App in the NPrinting Console is a server connection (qvp) and not a local connection. 

    Only server connections are supported in On-Demand.
