For an example Deployment Guide (Qlik Sense June 2017 and up), see Qlik Sense on AWS Deployment Guide
The guide provides an overview on how to deploy and implement the Qlik Sense platform on the AWS Cloud infrastructure including architectural considerations and configuration steps that explain how Qlik Sense can leverage various AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), AWS Directory Service, and Amazon Relational Database Services (RDS) to run scalable, secure and reliable analytical solutions.
While written for the June 2017 version, the concept remains the same across versions with exception of some information pertaining to Licensing for which the new Professional and Analyzer model has been introduced as well as for Local Network configuration for UDC.
See QlikSense local UDC / local user sync: Local Network no longer a UDC option from 3.2 onwards
