Inter-record functions behaves differently according to where functions are usedArticle Number: 000033147 | Last Modified: 2018/06/12
- In the load script, when a value from previously loaded records of data is needed for the evaluation of the current record.
- In a chart expression, when another value from the data set of a chart is needed.
Suppression of zero values is automatically disabled when these functions are used.
But if an Inter-record function like above() works fine when a field directly is used from the data model and enable 'suppress with zero'. However, when an expression inside the above function, it gives wrong results, which validates the statement made.
if(Region=23,RangeSum(above(TOTAL Data,1,22)), Data) - this works fine and gives right results.
However if(Region=23,RangeSum(above(TOTAL Column(1),1,22)), Data) doesn't works since we have used the expression 'Column(1)' here.
