The QlikView Webserver starts then immediately stops with the error: The QlikView Webserver service started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or Programs.
Check that all required ports are open and listening on either PID 4, or the PID that matches the QlikView Server.
If that is correct, check the Webserver config.xml
file (by default found in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\WebServer
- Check the port in the line: <ConfigUrl>http://_:4750/QVWS/Service</ConfigUrl>, If that is set to another port, like 443, change it back to default
- Check the installation location for accuracy in the line: <InstallationPath>C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\Web Server
- Check the port in line: <Port>4747</Port>, if that has been changed ensure that that port is listening and available, or change it back to default if needed.
- If the file is corrupted, you can rename the file to recreate one when the service starts up again.
