Load Balancing Rules: Have only specified streams/apps to be available on a dedicated nodeArticle Number: 000030433 | Last Modified: 2019/01/17
A Qlik Sense setup consists out of a Central and a RIM node. It is desired to have a particular Stream to be available on the RIM node.
At first, disable the default Load Balancing rule dedicated to making Apps available on RIM nodes.
A new rule will need to be created now. An example would be:
The Advanced condition implies that on the node named RIM 01, only the specified Stream will be available. The ID can be found in the Stream settings.
Note: The Load Balancing of the RIM Virtual Proxy needs to be configured so that only the RIM Engine is being used. Otherwise the Proxy will still be able to access the Central node, and therefore make all Streams/Apps available.
This example is provided "as is". Modifications will need to be made dependent on more specific requirements. Should assistance be required to do so, please contact our community at community.qlik.com or your account team for services in configuring this customization.
