- QlikWebConnector service suddenly stops and fails to start.
- The message thrown when starting the service is
"The Qlik Web connectors service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
- The event logs appear as below. Note in RED 'LICENCE_TIME_LIMIT_EXCEEDED'.
Service cannot be started. APIConnectorInterfaces.Exceptions.QwcException: LICENCE_TIME_LIMIT_EXCEEDED at QlikWebConnectorsService.Service.OnStart(String[] args) at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)” Attachment 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also while verifying Web Connector logs in system we could see the below. 4716c78e-4562-4962-8688-d9ee3d3a920e_2 06-02-2017 09:22:26 Warn APIConnectorWeb.Services.Licensing.LicenceManager true 2.0.0.21707 Qlik Web Connectors has expired. NA NA

Cause:
Please see the latest release notes for the web connectors, to determine the expiration date.

e.g: "The previous releases will expire for non-premium connector users on 31st January. Simply upgrade to this version to continue to use the connectors.".
So, all the non-premium connectors become unusable after 31st January.
Resolution:
Upgrade to the latest connector version. Once upgraded, the non-premium connectors will continue to work as-is and the premium ones may require licensing.
