QlikView Shared Objects Corrupted
Article Number: 000028061 | Last Modified: 2018/06/12
On the QlikView server, the users had multiple applications with multiple shared objects. The shared objects were associated with the domain users with reference to the current domain name.
Recently, the domain name has been changed.
The shared objects were originally saved on the server and associated with the old domain name and the users domain accounts.
Changing the domain name made the shared objects become corrupted and not functional.
When the application loaded, the reference to the corrupted shared objects caused a very high RAM consumption issue on the server when the application loaded. The RAM consumption reached up to 99%.
Removing and re-creating the shared objects in the application on the new domain name solved the high RAM consumption issue.
