Q&A - Qlik Community Moderation

Q: What do you mean by currently being moderated?
A: When a post is sent to moderation, a message in yellow will be displayed above their post letting the member know their post is awaiting approval, as shown below:

This post is sent to the Moderation Queue where it waits for a moderator to Approve or Reject the post:

Q: Whats will happen if the post is Rejected?
A: The member receives an automated email informing that their post has been Rejected, reasons for rejection and the process for re-submission.

Q: What will happen if the post is Approved?
A: The member will receive an automated email letting them know their post was Approved.

Q: How long does it take to complete moderation and post the response?
A: The approval time varies on on the time of day, week, time zone and activity level of the Community.

Q: Are all Posts moderated?
A: All Posts are not moderated, however all posts by members who are new to the community and have a low point count are sent to moderation. As they participate more and their point count goes up, their posts will bypass moderation, unless it is routed due to other factors. Other factors that can send posts to moderation are if the post includes links or attachments.

Q: Any auto rules set under Qlik Community for user?
A: When posts are approved or rejected, the member will receive an automated email informing the status.
