A scheduler is by default set up as both Manager and Worker. If this setting is changed in a single node environment then no reloads can be performed as both a Manager and Worker scheduler need to be present for reloads to work.

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows

To ensure that the scheduler is set to act as both Manager and Worker.

  1. Open the Qlik Sense Management Console
  2. Navigate to Schedulers
  3. Enable the Advanced section (if not already on by default)
  4. Select Manager and Worker
  5. Click Save
