The Full Browser Client (AJAX) is unavailable or otherwise disabled on the AccessPoint. Reviewing the QlikView server license key, we can find DISABLE_AJAX; as one of the active tags. This is an old and outdated license variant.
Symptom : Applications can only be opened with IE plugin; No Full Browser client (Ajax) option is available on the AccessPoint.
Example:
It's impossible to open an application with any other browser than Internet Explorer. Chrome, Firefox, etc do not allow for the plugin to be used.

This is an old and outdated license variant that should no longer be used. If present, please contact your account manager to have the tag removed.
The problem is not a parameter or a setting in the server.
This is a limitation due to the content of the LEF that disables the use of the Full Browser Client (AJAX).
