Task takes longer to complete than the script reload

The general performance of the document reload seems to be as expected, until the last line before Execution finished, at which point a pause can be noticed.

The QVB Buffer and temporary storage might have too many files included.

After the script reload finished, QlikView will be executing a QVB Buffer cleanup. If the Buffer location has accumulated too many files, this cleanup can cause a general performance degrade.

Verify the QVB Buffer location on the QlikView system and remove old files. No data will be lost, as the buffer will be recreated as needed.
