1. Create a temp folder（example: C:\TEST）on QlikView Server machine.
2. Move Shared file into temp folder (let's say the shared file is called A.Shared)
3. Run Command Prompt by Admin right.
4. Run following command
<staging area directory path>\qvs.exe –x “<shared file location and full file name>” –p
For example, if you want to clean up A.Shared file in temp folder, below is the command.
"C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\QVS.exe" -x "C:\TEST\A.Shared" -p
Note: The machine need to be have enough memory! Otherwise no file will be generated.
For example, if the size of shared file is 10GB, the free RAM in machine have to be more than that.
5. After running the command,「A.Shared_clean」will be generated.
「A.Shared_clean」is the cleaned-up shared file.
6.Delete characters「_clean」 from「A.Shared_clean」and move it back to UserDocument Folder.
