Internet Explorer Error: The Qlik Management Console (QMC) will not work if JavaScript is disabled. Hub is blank.

Users opening the Qlik Sense Management Console with Internet Explorer may receive the following error:

The Qlik Management Console will not work if JavaScript is "disabled"

The Hub is blank. 

Environment:

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows any version
 

Resolution:

Enable JavaScript in the Internet Explorer settings: 

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to the "tools" menu
3. Go to the "Internet Options" submenu
4. Click on the Security tab of the next dialog
5. Select the "Internet" zone in the 'Select a zone to view.... 
6. Click the "custom level" button toward the bottom of the dialog
7. The "Security Settings - Internet Zone" dialog will appear
8. Within the "settings" area, scroll until you find the "Scripting" area
9. Under the "Scripting"  options, look for the "Active Scripting" sub-option
10. Click the "Enable" radio button 
11. Click the Ok button in the dialog
12. Select "yes" for the prompt message " Are you sure you want to change the settings for this zone?"
13. Click Ok button
14. Close Internet Explorer, reopen, and try again. 

Note: If the issue persists, repeat steps 1-13 for the Security Zone in which things are actually running ( Step 4) : " Local Intranet" and "Trusted Sites"

Cause:

JavaScript is disabled for Internet explorer, blocking/disabling the use of JavaScript functions.
