When user is trying to access the hub, the screen shows "An error occurred Initialization of the Qlik Management Console failed for the following reason: Your account is inactive. Contact your administrator to activate it."
Check QMC->Users, User showed Inactive status "Yes", Removed Externally status "Yes" similar below:
! If this has happened to the Root Admin, then a second admin should still be active. Sense will attempt to not disable all available root admins. Should you not know the credentials to the remaining administrator, please contact Qlik Support. !
Qlik Sense Enterprise any version
The user can be deactivated either intentionally or unintentionally:
- Someone may have followed these steps to intentionally deactivate a user.
- Some changes may happened in UDC or user settings of Directory Service so that the users who were fetched before cannot be fetched anymore by the same UDC. If this happens, those users are marked as Removed externally in the Users overview page, even though they are not necessarily removed from Directory Service. Directory Admin needs to be involved to find out what changes happened.
