Reload and distribution of QlikView document is successful, but user can not see the document on the QlikView Access Point.
Documents are not displayed on the AccessPoint as expected.
Users cannot see all documents they have access to.
In this scenario there are no errors in the Task Log and the distributed QVW file is properly written in the target folder. Environments:
- Qlikview Server, all versions
By default the document settings enable a filtered Access Point based in Section Access.
This means that if Section Access does not grant a user access to the document, it will not be shown on the Access Point. There can be several reason to why a user gets access denied to the document;
- Section Access table is not properly formatted
- Section Access table does not list the user
- The service user reloading the document does not have full access to the document
The most common resolution to this issue is to add the QlikView Server service user to the section access table. The service user must have reduction values defined so that it gets access to all the data in the application.
Other possible solutions is to validate that the Section Access table is setup up properly and that the content is correctly formatted.
