In Qlik Sense when licensing is based on tokens they are allocated to users in order to allow access Qlik Sense apps.

Allocation can be made in Qlik Sense Management Console – License and tokens
Different types of access passes
- User Access Pass (UAP)

- Daily access to analyze or create content
- Unlimited access to Streams, Apps, etc. (Max of 5 simultaneous sessions)
- 7 Day quarantine period if user is de-allocated (Note: Quarantine period only applies to Token-Based licensing model when assigning a "User Access Pass". Furthermore, User-Based Licensing model does not quarantine the Professional/Analyzer license allocation)
- 1 token = 1 User Access Pass
- Login Access Pass (LAP)
- Infrequent users (general, occasional, temporary, or anonymous system access)
- Possible to customize and limit usage of Qlik Sense
- Time limit of 1 hour per pass (Max of 5 simultaneous sessions during that hour)
