Some or all end-users do not see the intended visualization in Qlik Sense.
The object renders with a warning message:
Incomplete Visualization
Missing field
The message "Incomplete Visualization" is an indication of non-existing fields being used in dimensions or measures.
- Data model has been changed after the object was configured. Field names have changed or fields have been removed.
- Fields are removed for users through Section Access based OMIT reduction.
Network errors when loading
The message may also be caused by network errors during transport. An object may not have been loaded in completely.
Resolution
Verify that reviewing the visualization dimensions and measures, and confirm that all used fields exist in the data model for the affected users.
If Section Access-based field reduction through OMIT is being used, please confirm that the affected user has accurate field-level access in the data model. For example, if the visualization relies on a field such as DATE, but the field is removed during the distribution of the document due to a reduction based on section access, the user will not have access to it and the visualization will error out.
If the visualization has access to all fields, use the web browser's debug tools to scan for error during network transfer. This will require additional troubleshooting on the network side to find latency issues or connection drops.
