Join UsCurrently QlikView does not provide any official connector for JDBC data sources. This is because the QlikView/ Qlik Sense platforms are not Java based and JDBC is not a native component to most Windows software.
You may consider using third-party QlikView JDBC connectors, for example the one provided in the following community discussion: https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-2438. Please be noted that this is not a Qlik product and Qlik is not able to cover technical support for Data Connectors developed by third-party vendors. Please contact the Connector vendor for assistance with proper configuration and implementation of the specific Data Connector.
If the Data Connector vendor deems QlikView needs to modify any functionality, please have the vendor contact QlikView Technical Support to provide information required for future modification of QlikView product(s).
You can also find other JDBC discussions on the community such as https://community.qlik.com/thread/134042
Additional note 03/22/2019 If QlikView environment has Publisher servers (separate from QVS) it has been confirmed with R&D (via Chris Tran) that the drivers need to be installed on the QDS as that is where the process is executed to connect to the database.
