Internet Explorer Plugin Client shows a blank screen when QlikView application is opened

This issue manifests itself with a blank white screen in Internet Explorer when using the IE Plugin Client, but the AJAX Client will works fine.
Caused by settings in Internet Explorer that are not set to the default options.
This may be caused by a setting in Internet Explorer, and should be reviewed by the Desktop/Helpdesk team of the customer.
A possible fix for the issue is:
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to the Tools menu
3. Select Internet Options
3. Go to the Advanced tab
4. Select - Reset Internet Explorer Settings - Reset options
5. Verify the Accesspoint is in the Trusted Site security zone
These steps will reset everything in Internet Explorer back to default settings. Any items that were changed will need to be reapplied. This includes "User Authentication" in the Custom Levels for Security Zones (Internet Options-> Security -> Pick a zone -> Custom Level) if they were changed.
