Not able to assign CALs, though all QV Services are running fine and LDAP string was assigned as shown in the attached screenshot.
After verifying the attached screenshot of DSC (i.e. by spotting the red star next to pencil mark), it showed that the connection wasn't established between QlikView and AD.
To resolve the problem make sure that
1. AD is located in the same domain
2. Check with AD administrator, that the assigned LDAP connection string was correct or not.
4. Check whether the QV services account has enough permissions on LDAP or not.
