SAP SQL Connector fails with log message: Error Creation of function /QTQVC/OPEN_STREAM failed

It is not possible to use the SAP SQL Connector and the connector log displays an error.

It is not possible to run /n/QTQVC/SQL in the SAP system.
The transports seems to be imported correctly.
Cause
The transport files for the SAP SQL Connector on the SAP system is in read only mode.
Resolution
The solution is to open the properties for each of the transport files for the SAP SQL Connector on the SAP system and uncheck the option "Read Only. This has to be done by an administrator of the SAP System.
