QlikView Server does not allow all documents to be loaded
Article Number: 000002608 | Last Modified: 2019/10/31
This is caused by the type of QlikView Server license (Extranet Server / IAS server license), which allows only a set number of documents to be loaded and displayed.
The check box of "Allow this document to be loaded by the QlikView Server" is grayed out. This is occurring even though you have fewer documents displaying in AccessPoint than your limit.
Confirm that the license stored in the server is displaying the correct number of documents before proceeding.
QlikView all versions
This is caused by someone deleting a document from disk that had been allowed to display in AccessPoint. The document name is still stored in the FDL.dat file, however since there is no physical file with that name in rooted or mounted folders, you cannot change the settings for it.
To clear out all of the documents allowed in AccessPoint you will need to do the following:
1. Stop the Qlikview Server Service
2. Go to C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer
3. Delete FDL.dat
4. Reboot the server
This will clear ALL the documents out of the list allowed for AccessPoint. You can then go back into the QMC and select the QVWs to display.
