Session recovery overrides OnOpen triggers in AJAX

When Session recovery is active, it will override any OnOpen trigger.
Resolution
Session Recovery sets the application to start in the last known state.
In order to allow the OnOpen trigger to set the state of the document, it is necessary to turn off Session Recovery.
The Prohibit Session Recovery checkbox is found in the management console under QMC > System > Setup > QlikView Servers > Documents
Session Recovery only affects the AJAX client.
The plugin client or open in server from standalone QlikView will not be effected by this functionality.
