Installing QlikView fails with: 
 

Error 1923. QlikView Distribution Service could not be installed.Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
 

This error may be generated by Microsoft during an install of QlikView Server when a previous version of QlikView Server is installed.

This issue may occur if another QlikView file is in use or if the installer recognizes that another QlikView file is already installed.

Resolution:

To clear the error, a clean uninstall and a clean install must take place. If the application data folders are not modified or removed there will be no need to reconfigure the product. 

1. Installation account must have Admin rights to the server
2. On the  Windows Server > Click on Control Panel > Programs > Program and Features
3. Select QlikView Server then click Uninstall
4. Restart the Server
5. Located the downloaded Qlikview Server executable and click on Run As Administartor
6. Install Qlikview Server
7. Restart the Server 
8. Verify that all the services have started and launch Qlikview Management Console
9. Verify that all the services are running and the server is licensed.

Repeat the same steps if other services are affected.
