What files to include in Backup for QlikView

This article includes a list of folders and files that should be considered for backup in a QlikView deployment.

Note that the locations are listed by default settings. Customisations need to be taken into account.

 

For the QlikView Management Console, Tasks and Service Configuration:

 

%ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR folder 
A daily backup is being written by QlikView and can be used for archiving purposes.

For the QlikView Server Settings (Mounts, Security Settings, etc..):

 

%ProgramData%\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\ settings.ini

Operational Files for the QlikView Server (.pgo files, CAL data):

 

[Your QlikView Server ROOT folder]\ CalData.pgo, FUL.dat, IniData.pgo (TicketData and BorrowedCalData are optional)
