QlikView 12: functions that refer to paths fail, while they used to work in 11.20

Paths used by the include or other functions may not function.

Environment:

QlikView 

Scenario:

The Include file is stored in C:\SourceLocation\Includes
The QV Document is stored in  C:\SourceLocation\Documents 

The document contains this:

$(Must_Include =../includes/file.txt)

This used to work in QlikView 11.20, but it fails in QlikView 12

Cause:

The behavior of functions has been improved in QlikView 12, so that they are now consistent with the Directory statement.
In QlikView 11.20, the paths were relative to the position of the .qvw, while now they are relative to the stated Directory. 

Resolution:

This is working as designed.

Change your relative paths so that they refer to the path defined in the Directory statement, and not the position of the QVW.
