Chart object can get an unexpected NULL value in the dimension, even though there is no Null value in the loaded data.
The loaded data does not contain Null values. The expected result is that the chart reflects the loaded data.

The NULL value can be visualized by disabling or unchecking any suppression of Null or Missing values.
The data model reveals that there is a connection from the data table over which the chart is calculated. In this case the Store table has a link to the Fruits table.
The key field details in the Store table show that only a 25% of the values in Fruit are used in the Store table.
The data used for the chart calculation will include also a representation of the unused key field values. The chart calculation is based on data that looks like the below image. When the key field is removed there is still a Null representation in the Sales and SalesPerson field as an indication of the subset ratio, as highlighted in within the red square.
The data set used for the chart calculation will therefore have a Null value in the SalesPerson field, and if expanded in the chart the Null value can be seen.
There are two main approaches to visually remove the Null value from the chart.
