How to Configure Qlik NPrinting Server and Qlik NPrinting Engine computer Internet Options

Qlik NPrinting Server and Qlik Sense need to be able to connect. To ensure connectivity is not blocked, add the Qlik Sense proxy path to the Qlik NPrinting server within Internet Options of the Qlik NPrinting server host and NPrinting engine host.

Resolution

As the Qlik NPrinting Service Domain User Account that runs the Qlik NPrinting Windows Scheduler Service, do the following on both the Qlik NPrinting server host and Qlik NPrinting engine host (if engines installed on separate computers)

1. Open Control panel>Network and Internet
2. Select "Internet Options"
3. Insert the https:// address path of each Qlik Sense virtual proxy server address(s) that you are connecting to from the Qlk NPrinting Server via Qlik NPrinting Connections.

 

Cause:

Incomplete system configuration of the Qlik NPrinting server resulting in 'failed' or intermittent communication failure with the Qlik Sense server.
