Windows could not start the Qlik GeoAnalytics Server on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1.
If you get this message make sure you have the latest 64 bit Java version installed on your computer.
Usually, you get this error if the service tries to use 32 bit Java on a 64 bit system.
Resolution:
- Verify that 64-bit Java is installed.
- If the problem still persists try to uninstall all versions of 32-bit Java (if not needed by other 3rd party software).
- If (2) is not feasible, force the use of 64-bit Java:
- Open the Windows search bar
- Search for and open Qlik GeoAnalytics Configure Service app
- Click the Java tab
- Uncheck Use default
- Select the following Java Virtual Machine:
%Program Files\Java\[version]\bin\client\jvm.dll
or
(for JDK) %Program Files\Java\[version]\bin\server\jvm.dll
