Installed extension bundles are not listed in the Qlik Sense Management Console. The installation was carried out following the instructions in Installing and removing Qlik Sense Extension bundle.

Resolution

Repair the installation

  1. Ensure to exclude the Qlik Sense Files and Folder the Anti-Virus Scanning. See Qlik Sense Folder And Files To Exclude From Anti-Virus Scanning.
  2. Repair the Qlik Sense installation and Qlik Sense Dashboard Bundles. See Repairing an installation.

Manually remove and re-install the Extensions

  1. Remove the current Extension bundle. See Installing and removing Qlik Sense Extension bundle.
  2. Open the Qlik Sense Management Console (QMC).
  3. Go to the Extensions overview and verify that all extensions are removed. Delete any remaining. extensions by selecting the extension and clicking Delete.
  4. Restart Restart the Repository Service.
  5. Re-install the Extensions. See Installing and removing Qlik Sense Extension bundle.
  6. After installation, verify they are all listed in the Qlik Sense Management Console and that they are available on the Hub.

Hello @AmirTaub

I would recommend reviewing security rules if you have enabled custom rules which disable extension.

If you have a multi node setup:  Qlik Sense: Extensions not visible on rim node (Error 404 on /qrs/extensions/schema)

Should neither of those help, I recommend posting about your issue directly in our Deployment & Management forum. Include version information as well as error messages and details about your setup (multi node, single node, etc).

All the best,
Sonja

I'm having this issue after updating to the may 2023 version. Both bundles are not visible in the QMC. I've used the variable input and nprinting On-demand button... I guess these are not depreciated.

I found a dashboard and visualisation bundle.zip  (C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\ExtensionBundles\) and imported these as extensions. This works untill a server reboot.

This is not how it's supposed to work I guess. Did something go wrong during installation? Repairing the bundles (control panel | programs and features) doesn't to the trick either...

No custom rules on extensions and we are working in a single node environment.

Maybe somebody has an idea how to solve this.

We have the same Problem after the update may 2023 version.

Hello @luitsh87

I reviewed previous topics and noted that repairing the Qlik Sense installation and Qlik Sense Dashboard Bundles has helped resolve it. See Repairing an installation.

In addition, ensure to exclude the Qlik Sense Files and Folder the Anti-Virus Scanning. See Qlik Sense Folder And Files To Exclude From Anti-Virus Scanning

If the above does not help resolve the problem, a ticket with support may be necessary.

All the best,
Sonja
