Export to Microsoft Excel from QlikView/Qlik Sense is done in the Microsoft Excel 97-2003 file format (XLS). The file format only supports sheets with maximum of 65 536 rows and 256 columns.
Export to Microsoft Excel from QlikView/Qlik Sense is done in the Microsoft Excel for Office 365, Excel 2019, Excel 2016, Excel 2013, Excel 2010, and Excel 2007 format (XLSX). The file format only supports sheets with maximum of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns.
