This article provides an alternative solution to the Distribution Service Error 1067, if the solution in article "QlikView Distribution Service Can Not Be Started And Error "1067: Process terminated unexpectedly
" does not resolve the issue.
Issue could have been caused by a system update which happened the same time the tasks were running and this resulted in the tasks being corrupted
The alternative solution is to restore the QVPR in the Management Service folder. The QVPR folder in Management Service stores all the tasks, and the distribution service communicates with the QVPR to run the tasks. The issue can be resolved by restoring the QVPR in the Management Service folder with a backup copy from before the issue occurred (stop services, replace folder with backup, start services) How To: Restore QVPR From BackupNOTE: If this does not resolve the issue, please follow the steps listed in Article 000003049 as this will resolve the problems if it's not directly QVPR related.
